Movie and Book Introductions

Most beginnings of books and movies start out with some background information, or sometimes an idea or event that grabs the viewer’s attention. They give you a little information of something big that is yet to come; characters and authors give you vibe of ideas that will carry over into the main problem or event in the movie/book. Some examples that show strong introduction are: One of my favorite movies Just Friends, they start off by having a flash back and gave us some background information on what the movie is going to be like. They showed us Chris’ typical day in high school and how he liked someone but they were just in the “friend zone” then they go to present life. This showed how the story would be like and what it was about. Another example would be from Catch and the Rye; it showed Holden being in rehab which gave the reader the idea that something was right. It also made everyone draw conclusion and ideas to what could have happened. So far in Macbeth the themes are shown as if there is going to be a fight or a death. Knowing what happens in the beginning you will see this progress thought the book with more fights deaths and brawls.
